Did you get the can-bus wiring harness? I think you have to run the camera back to the tail lights but idk for sure on that. I do know on my pioneer i connected my parking brake sensor wire to the mute wire and ground to bypass the video block when driving.

In order to bypass it you have to solder the mute wire the parking brake wire into the black ground wire. Also if you didnt get the right harness that has the little box for can-bus (TIPM) then its not gonna power up as far as i know.

They make a specific harness for nav installs that includes all the trigger wires you need. That way you don't have to hunt wires down.
