I own ba 2006 3500 megacab that had factory leather and Laramie trim. I recently decided it was time to have some fun with the seats. I decided on a premium leather kit from Leather seats.com. Options include:

Two tone leather
Perforated inserts
Contrast stitching
Heated rear seats
Heated/Cooled option for the front
Ram logo on all four headrests

I can say I am extremely happy and glad I did it. About $2,600 total invested.

Yeah leather was in pretty good shape, just wanted to do something fun. Especially with the cooled seats. Driver's side cushion was shot also. Truck has 150k Miles on it.
The new leather looks good. I must say though that the old leather looked pretty damn good on a 13 y/o truck. How many miles are on it?

looks great! I have been looking at Katzkins for my '06 2500 (43K miles) and it would be around $2k. Did you compare the www.LeatherSeats.com to any other supplier? My cloth seats are in good shape and nicer (spousal unit prefers cloth) when it gets hot in Houston so I haven't pulled the trigger on this purchase yet but who knows what the future brings!

I did look at Katzkin also, but my truck had factory leather in it and they told me they didn't make a leather replacement. Leather seats.com does, so that's why I went with them.

Did you do the install or have it done professionally? If you did it yourself, how long did it take you?

I had someone do the install for me, it looked way too involved. It was about 2 full days for him to finish.
