Always been a Ford man but I figured I'd give the goat a try. I bought a 12 Ram quad cab 4th with the Hemi. Anything advice on mods? Just wondering what bolt on the hemi prefers.

Welcome! I came over from and ecoboost 150! Loved that truck but the extra mileage with the ecodiesel is nice. Tuner is probably the best place to start.

Welcome aboard dude. The hemis love the basics. For tuners check out the bullydog or diablo w/hemifever. Intake look at the S&B or the Vararam. And basically any exhaust that you like the sound of.

Catch can? I've already decided on hemi fever. I'm back an forth about exhaust though. I have the single exhaust set up on mine and I've been reading the low end suffer if I switch to duals. I was thinking about just getting a 3 inch single pipecat back system.

Yes. Catch Can. The PCV in these trucks vents back into the throttle body and blows oil and other gunk back into the engine. You throttle body and intake will eventually get gummed up. The catch can catches these fluids and keeps them from going into the engine. You just have to empty the can every couple of thousand miles.

I think I got that right. Short story is it keeps a bunch of crap from being fed back into your motor.

Billet Technologies makes a nice one for the 5.7 but a lot of other companies make them too.

I have the single pipe set on on my 06 hemi and I did a muffler delete put in a straight pipe gives a nice sound when cruising and quiet while idling.
