On Monday, I'm heading to the dealership to pick up my 2014 Ram 1500 Tradesman. it's got pretty low miles 1,500, the 5.7 & 8-speed, 4x4, back up camera, and i think the stereo option. Im pretty pumped for it but i did want to get some information and tips. I come from the import car world. Previously owned a 2011 GTI and before that a 2008 Subaru LGT. I've wanted a truck all along, but also love a quick little car. Needed the space for the family though so now its a Crew cab pickup haha. Help a guy out with some knowledge? I'm sure gas is going to shock me

I'm trying to cram in a bunch of research as quickly as possible haha. Anything i should try to make sure is covered by the dealer selling it ?

Welcome and congrats!! Post some pics when you get it. As far as the truck, it will have a full warranty so I wouldn't worry. Maybe get the dealer to tint match the front windows to the back... maybe make sure the gas tank is full, I've heard of people getting a new vehicle with like 1/4 tank of fuel. My dealer sells every vehicle with a full tank, nice to hope in and just drive it.

Probably a null point with 1500 miles on it an american, but any maintenance i should have checked before signing?

Being brand new, it left the factory ready to go. Then the dealer should have done their little inspections both when it got off the trailer and for pre-delivery. I would think it should be fine.

It's being sold by a Honda dealership so I don't know what they've done . It's listed as a tradesmAn but has Vin for an ST I don't know the differences.
