Hi first off ill tell you that my truck is a 2006 ram 1500 woth a 6"bds lift and i have just replaced my power steering rack got it all back together and find out my tie rod ends are turned all the way in and its still toed out around 1/4 of an inch
So i then took a look at the old rack and looks like someone cut off 1/2 of an inch off each side to gain the toe angle
Now my question is can i cut this much off as well or is it something that I shouldn't have to do i looked at bds website and says nothing about cutting the rack to get alignment in spec any advice would be awesome
