Hi there. Glad to be part of the forum. I bought a 2014 sigle cab ram express 4x4 about two months ago. Im finally pulling the teigger on getting it lifted. Based on what ive reaserched and read this is what i was thinking. Again all opinions and help are welcomed.

6 inch rcx lift

Fuel lethal 20 inch wheels

Nitto trail grapplers M/T (35's?????)

What i need help on is on what dimensions should i order the rims? Second thing is how would i go about havong the front of my truck aboit an inch higher then the back? I believe this is called rake??? (Excuse my noobness!! Lol)

You're correct, the front lean the truck comes with is called the rake. Will you be towing anything after you lift it? If so there are other things to consider. The reason the truck comes with the rake is so when trailer or payload weight in your bed is applied the trucks is leveled before it leans back. When you're truck is leaning back less weight is applied to the front tires and that's part of what causes sway with trailers. So if you're truck is already leaning back and you apply weight is going to drop the back further.

I leveled my truck when I lifted it and the tongue weight on my trailers is heavy. In fact the back of my truck drops 6" with the weight on it. I had to install air bags to support the weight for safety. So there are other options if you like your truck leaning back. The 35's will look great on 20" wheels in my opinion. Depending on the offset of the rim you choose you may need a back spacing. You shouldn't have any rubbing issues with a 6" lift unless your lift is rated for a smaller tire. The lift kit description will say how big a tire you can go with. After that, it's all about how you want your truck to look. If you search the thread "lifted trucks" there are plenty of pics & stats. That will help you decide how you want to set your truck up.

You could get the 6" rcx kit with 3" rear lift option. Then get a set of adjustable Bilsteins for the front and set them to the .7" or 1.4" setting to give it the bulldog stance.

Someone that knows the mechanics better than I do should chime in here with an answer but I think you can install a leveling spacer on top of the shock tower for the extra lift you want in the front if a shock setting didn't give you the lift you want in the front.

You can level with Bilstein 5100's and then do a lift. The current rake on your truck will tell you what you need to set the 5100's at. You get this by measuring the distance from the ground to the center of each wheel well. The rear will be higher, and the difference is what you need to set your 5100's at to level.

For wheels and tires. If you're going to run 35's in the typical 12.5" width, you will need wheels with negative offset. I believe -12 offset will work. Others have run wheel spacers on the OEM wheels and run 35x12.5 tires. Depends on the wheels you're looking at. Some don't get negative offset until you get into 20x10 sizes.
