new to the ram 1500

Hey im getting the 05 ram 1500 hemi in a week or so. And im also new to the forum. I was wondering what are some cheap upgrades?

You could go to AutoZone and spend hundreds on "cheap upgrades". I would suggest getting your truck and really digging into it, find out what you like about it and what you would want to change. Ideas will start to come to you.

Then start pricing out those ideas and start from the bottom. Sometimes 1 quality upgrade is worth 20 "cheap" upgrades and totally worth it.

To throw you a bone though, a cheap upgrade that looks great and is useful is converting your reverse, license place and bed lights to LEDs. Looks great, helps when reversing.

Head on over to Moe's and pick out a ported throttle body. While you're there, may as well grab a new intake. Not exactly "cheap" parts, but well worth the money.

As far as "cheap" is concerned...go to Advanced and go on a shopping spree lol.

I just bought an 04 not too long ago and I have done a bunch of little things that I think have added up to a good look. I got dual exhaust, tinted front windows, tinted the tails and 3rd brake light, debadged it, and removed the side steps. You could also level it for cheap.
