Thought I would pop in and say HI.. Picked up a 98 Ram 1500 4x4 with a plow 3 months ago and been my restoration project since. Just about done, and glad I found this site with tonz of good info. Started out just being a plow truck but soon as I drove it things changed, trucks been gone through bumper to bumper including fresh b/c paint job.
I'm a mechanic and work on many vehicles everyday so I'm no stranger to work and mods plus I got sick of driving customer GM and Ford trucks without having my own. My last truck was 88 Ranger 4x4 many moons ago. Now I want to lift it abit and needed help with lift/level kit items to make things right and found it here so thanks all, so that's next on my list.

Nice truck, too nice to have a plow on the front of it.

Evercoat and USC filler products, dura blocks for sanding, urethane primer, chromabase with euro clear and many days of sanding with years of tricks to the trade.

I tried it once before but I did NOT have the proper equipment. It turned out acceptable but not how I wanted lol
