Newbies first post and first problem

Hey whats up guys my name is Trey. this is my first post and i was just gonna let y'all know a little bit about myself.
I currently live in North Carolina, I'm active Army and married

Ok heres the deal with the problem
me and my wife were driving in the truck the other day and for a minute
we didn't realize it but the cigarette lighter stopped workin

just wonderin if it would be just a simple fuse or maybe the outlet itself
and if y'all know anybody who has already posted somethin on this let me know. i couldn't find anything anywhere

Welcome aboard. Thanks for for your service. I'd say the lighter would be on a fuse. I would the fuses to see if you got a bad one.

I would like last poster said, check fuse, or check cord of what ever you had plugged into socket.

Yeah had this happen on my 07, turned out to be a blown fuse due to something i plugged into it

Check the owner's manual for the fuse number--but I think it is either 90,91 or 92. Not sure though??????

I had that problem too haha turns out my phone charger shorted out which blew the fuse. I swapped the fuse, but now i just use the outlet on the truck to charge my phone

Thanks for your service..My dash cam just blew the fuse on my 2010..It was fuse M48 20 amp

check fuse
check device power cord
check power outlet power wire connection a bit of disassembly is required of the console
