First post here, first dodge truck here: 2016 Ram BigHorn 4x4

Have done a ton of reading and searches but seem to not find a real definitive answer in the threads....

simple question: Can I go from the factory 275/60/20 to 275/65/20 on factory rims without any problems?

I am looking to get a little taller ground clearance is all......

Yes. I had my tires installed before the level due to rebates at Discount tire and they fit just fine.

Sizes can vary quite a bit....all tires the "same size" are not equal. Can you tell us which tire you are looking at in 2756520?

Looking for basic all around tire. Most of what I do is on pavement but about 20 percent is mild off road---think mostly poorly maintained ranch roads and fire trials. Copper at3 and hankook dynapro atm or something like that: Decent in snow and with good Rock/gravel cut protection are important

Yes it will fit without rubbing or issues. Had this set up on for a few months before I leveled it.

awesome...that's my plan too actually. I have bilsteins in hand but no time to get them done until about a month out and I need tires now....was hoping I could run the 275/65's before the level

anybody have any feeling this won't work?
I won't be doing any towing or anything between now and the level either

You should be fine. The only reason I asked is because of the 2756520 ATs I was running. I was still getting some rub with those with a 2.5" level but only at full lock in reverse. Let's just say it was a rather large 2756520. ha

I run 275/65 20 Toyo AT IIs and yes, they fit just fine. One weird thing, on my 2014, turning the wheel all the way to the left would make the drivers side front tire rub on a plastic part just a tiny bit. My 2017? Doesn’t do it.

Either way, that works just fine.
