2017 Ram 1500 Tradesman, Hemi, 82,000 mi, self maintained. On start up I have a tapping noise that quitens in about 10 seconds. When driven, I hear a "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeee" sound, that diminishes and increases with deacceleration and acceleration for about the first mile, then it is not noticable. My thoughts these seperate but possibly connected issues. Tapping maybe a valve lubrication issue goes away when the oil reaches the top end and becomes lubricated. The sound I am hearing could be lack of lubrication for the piston. Are there oil injectors in each cylinder that gum up or fail at some point? I use Walmart Supertec 5w20 and a fram synthetic filter, changed every 5k miles. Can someone with experience chime in on the description - is there something else I need to check? Could the "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeee" sound be a belt or bearing somewhere?
Edit - I found a video on lifter tapping - sounds like the first issue. But why does it go away?

Sounds goes away becasue it's probly a broken manifold bolt, which is another common issue. When everything cools down the manifold pulls away from the heads and allows for a large leak, and thus the sound, on start up. Then after 10sec or so the manifold warms up, flexes back into place and reseals itself, making the noise go away.

You can certainly have noisy lifters and it's something to be aware of, but if it consistently goes from very noticeable to gone is that short time frame, odds are it's the manifold.

Unsure on your "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeee" sound.

If you short-trip it, it might clatter for a few seconds at start up, especially if it has sat for a bit.

My 2015 will do this every time I restart after driving to my in-laws house 1-1/2 blocks away.

If I remember to raise my rpm's to 2k for 5-10 seconds, then shut it off, it eliminates this.

It has done the clatter thing EVERY time since I got her at 28,600 miles. 199,500 miles as I write this.
