I'm hoping one of experts here can help me out. I just got myself a sweet new RAM 2500 configured much like the one in this link, except it has no running boards. 2500 Laramie Night Edition Is there a part number available for the wheel-to-wheel running boards? The dealership says only the crew cab length is available.

Here is an email I got back from the dealership:

I called and talked with the specifier about all black wheel-to-wheel running boards and they do not make them, We can get painted running boards like the picture you showed but they are a part and not an accessory so I would have to order each individual part and then have the running boards painted it would probably run over $1600.00 per side to have painted and installed.
$3200 seems a little steep for something that's an $845 add-on.

That's a ridiculous number I agree.
I just installed Aries power steps on mine. They cost about $1600 and were not difficult to install.
The Ram oem steps are even easier to install/remove.
