this is the only part auto zone has. any one know were i cand find a how to online, id really rather do this my self if i can the bearing is only 28$

all i cant find online for the c clip removal is i have to loosen the "pinion shaft lock screw" dunno what that is

can some one here photoshop an arrow on the lock screw and c clips please. i looked in my haynes manuel and the job dont look to bad. also id it the differential lube that lubricated the bearings or is there fluid/grease in the axle tube??

And what kind of liquid gasket is used for the diff cover?

Black rtv for the gaskets. I watched my dad do the rear bearings on his 72 cheb. Just gotta be careful not to damage the sealed.

well i found the c clips with some googling, the only question i have left is the bearings, is the race pressed in or is it part of the axle tube?
