During shakedown drive after changing out oil filter housing during hard acceleration at five grand the oil pressure gauge went to zero. Checked everything restarted it was fine. Did another five grand Paul same affect. Any ideas on the electrical part of the switch for multistage oil pump or anything else I’m lost.

Did you check your oil level ,sounds like it may be sucking air.

I was hoping not to have to tear the whole top off again but in my mind that’s the problem and it looks like you have confirmed that too.

I thought I remembered hearing that a similar symptom could be caused by the filter not being seated properly within the housing on 3.6s. Did you already go back in the top?
