I know these are notorious for being problematic but I'm on my 3rd one already!
I have a fresh 4.7 with 1500 miles on it and pressure was verified.
Besides, if the oil sender/gauge was accurate I would have blown up the engine 3 times by now!

Anyway, like most, truck warms up and needle drops to zero, check gauge light and chime come on. It's getting annoying. The chime is really wearing me thin. Will do it randomly while driving, not just at idle. Sometimes it bounces back with throttle and sometimes it will remain on zero for a while and randomly go back up.
The only place by me that stocks them sells BWD parts and ***** is a little pricey like 35 bucks! So, should I just order an oem Mopar or is there something else going on that I should look for?

Have you tried changing up the brand of oil that you're running? Maybe paying extra for a premium brand like RP or Redline would be worth not having to listen to that chime all the time. Could also try adding some Lucas oil stabilizer to what you already have in there. Just a thought.

Are you buying OEM ones, or aftermarket? If you're just going to the parts stores, stop. Buy an OEM one.

If you're on your third switch, I'd suggest it's not the switch.

OEM switch and OEM connector kit. Sounds like the pins in the connector are loose and not making a good connection. I also always see problems with aftermarket switches. If it has anything to do with electrical try to stay with OEM.
