Hey Yall, Another day above ground. .
2012, 5.7, 160,000. Original owner. Thats right, im the proud owner of the year that requires new plugs every other month . Anyway, newly retired and doin some service thats a bit overdue. While doing a coolant flush noticed a core leak, would love some advice from the elders on replacement Brands. Im ashamed to say the fluid is from the time of purchase and although it looks good I figured id throw in a water pump, therm, hoses, while its apart. Lots of conflicting info out there and want it done with the least possibility of a faulty or prematurely failing part.
Thanks everybody

Welcome and congrats on retirement. Whats leaking the Heater core or the radiator?
We have a rad shop in town I've gotten replacement rads from, but for the quick and dirty I'll use NAPA, Autozone, or an online vendor.

Cont…. what was delivered was an OSC of lower quality then stock. IE number of tubes was far less making the fins easily crushed. It was delivered with a broken overflow tube. Rock refunded 100% and the shipping cost. Using that credit + an additional $150 I ordered a Mopar replacement to be delivered Thursday. Fingers crossed.
FYI: Very impressed with Rock Auto’s reaponse. Immediate credit issued and didnt have to hassle with shipping it back. I submitted photos of the damaged part and they didnt want it back. if anyone wants a new OSC radiator its yours. I think the overflow tube could be tapped using a threaded male air hose fitting.
