That is awful to hear. I read an article about a camaro owner having suspicion of his local shop so he put a voice recorder in his car when he took it in. On the tape you could hear the workers dumping the clutch and tires being burnt and then discussing how to blame his bad clutch on something he had done. Last I heard the dealer was still denying it...
I'm looking for a new dealership as well. When i bought my truck, i had everything signed and set there for 5 hrs while they "washed and filled it up with gas". The truck was dirtier than when i test drove it, mud in the carpet and foot prints on passenger side? Also had 58 miles instead of the 8 that it had after my test drive. The gas station was less than a mile away. They said they'd give me a free wash. But scared of where the workers would joy ride it to next time.
