What would you guys think about the truck if i threw a Road Armor front bumper on my truck?

The only reason I'm hesitant is because These look better on trucks that are more lifted than my 2" level on 35s..

I really like the sport looking bumper you have now. I say one of these on a non lifted truck and they don't look as good. I wish I had the dark grey instead of silver.

Well a ***** and the extra black contrast is what I'm looking for, and this is the perfect chance I would say atleast for me
And they make a half ton model, so I don't see why not?

But I'm loving input from you guys!

If I had the money I would have it too. They bake great bumpers, when I had a wrangler, I really wanted their bumpers.

Anyone have recommendations on a winch under 300$? This bumper took all my spare cash. Basically only for looks. Preferably 8k lb + haha

They look badass, but man are they heavy... puts a lot of strain on the front end both steering and suspension. Better handled by a 2500 or 3500...
Hope you have no issues with replacing ball joints...

Ah I got fresh joints on there anyway, im more worried about hubs and tie rods honestly.. But honestly, I would say its 50lb heavier than the stocker (extremely rough estimate)

Worst case for the ball joint you can look at the TTX line from Mevotech. They are more expensive, but well worth the price for heavy duty application. Not sure if they have the rod ends.

I would worry more about the rack than the the rod ends.

As for the winch, have a look at the Harbor Freight ones. They are one of the items I would consider from them. + they would have something in your price range.

Sounds good. Yeah I've been down the ball joint road and I'm looking to get some #1 quality ones soon.

Also believe it or not I just replaced the rack a month ago hahaha
