For those of you that have placed an order for a 2016, how much off of MSRP are you getting? I realize that there are no rebates on the 2016 (according to my dealer) and I would save a lot more money buying a 2015 but I have not been able to find a truck that has all of the options that I am looking for. I've never ordered a new vehicle from the factory and I plan to haggle on price but I'm just curious if anyone has had luck with this.

It's hard to beat some of the deals that the dealers are giving on 15's---up to $10-$11k off. My dealer will not even talk price till the 16'***** the lot. I haven't heard of any rebates yet. I think you can still use the "Tread Lightly" membership disccount and from time to time Ram sends out $500. coupons although I ain't got one of them yet either.

Dealer reduced to invoice which was about $3.5k less. Order, after all taxes titles fees etc came up to just under the normal msrp, but any rebates that will be available at the time it comes in will be in effect.

I never understood why people order at the beginning / early in the model year. Rebates tend to be the lowest, dealers usually won't haggle to much and your truck will have more miles on it ( usually ) than a guy who buys one late in the model year. Both the same year truck, but 5-6 years from now, one guy will have a vehicle with a lot less miles on potentially. I always found that you can get what you want about 1/2- 2/3's of the way through the model year and do well on price. Wait longer and prices get even better

Originally planned on ordering a 2015 to get the rebates, but the timing was too late. I'm getting what I want. When I'm in my death bed, I'm not gonna look back and say "wish I saved that extra $2500 by waiting 7 more months to buy.."

Yeah, I understand both sides. I'm in no hurry and have the luxury of waiting until the deals are to be had. I had the dealer run numbers on a 2016 Sport CC short bed with ALL of the options I want. MSRP: $53,140. Best he would do was $49,385. Now is not the right time (for my budget).

I couldn't find a 2015 that had everything I wanted and I'm just not going to compromise when spending this much on a truck.

Yea man, thats a down right rip off. Wait till march or later and then go order one and you will get your $8-10k off sticker.

I ordered a 2016 on 6/19 and I'll have it this week.
Ram 3500 crew cab Big Horn.
By ordering, I was able to get exactly what I wanted.
Doing a vehicle search for a 2015 brought up one truck that was missing two things I wanted and was in a color that I did not want.
MSRP of $53,500
Cut my deal for $47,900
Received a $500 code from Ram and the current incentive on a 2016 Heavy Duty is $1000

Bottom line..................... $46,400

$7100 off MSRP
