I have a 2007 ram 1500 5.7 hemi mega cab. It is giving me P0456 "small leak", P0440, and U1403. When the check engine light came on I had all three codes. Before this there were no issues.
The first two codes make me think I should replace the vapor purge valve. I have already replaced the leak detection pump. I did a visual inspection of the gas cap and hoses and I did not find any obvious holes, but I did find that the PVC line coming from the leak detection pump filter, running towards the front of my truck, stops just before the engine bay under my exhaust. Can anyone tell me what this is supposed to attach to? Currently it is just floating underneath the truck with an open end. It is running alongside two other lines that are going to The Vapor purge valve.
The third has me more concerned. U1403 "implausible fuel level signal received."
Any help is greatly appreciated.
