painting badges

Anyone on here who painted your badges? Im planning on doing mine tomorrow and wanted to know the best way to make sure of placement whe putting them back on... im nervous about messing it up... how did yall put em back on?

3m makes the best automotive double side tape. Clean the back side of the badges good with some adhesive remover. I think goop off, or whatever, worked okay when I removed my badges. But I think most people plastidip their badges while still on the truck.

I'd try to mask them off well and hit on the truck.
