Painting Ram Sport Hood Vents

Anyone have any experience with paining the fake vents of the hood of the Ram Sport? I was thinking maybe an accent color but not really sure....If anyone has done something like this please post a picture or your thoughts at the minimum.

I did a black and copper theme on my sport with plasti dip. Did the vents copper.
Over all I liked the look, but wasn't too crazy about the vents specifically.
It might be better with a different color.

Peeled the dip a few weeks ago and went back to a traditional black and white look.

Yea, the black is pretty subtle and just kind of goes with any color. You may be disappointed painting them and go back to factory like radak.

I really like white with copper thats pretty BA. I've been tempted to paint them red but actually just the small grille like part maybe making them stand out just a bit more as well as give the a little added depth or contrast to look more realistic...

X2 - I wouldn't paint the whole vent, but maybe highlight it somehow. LED lights in them might be cool if its done right.

My truck is all black so I have no options, oh my dealer ripped me off on my Sport purchase and I got a normal hood but that's another subject lol

I've seen a few pics with colored mesh in the vents. Vents not cut out, but mesh put in the middle. It looked pretty good. I think it was red.

I thought it was a good way to accent the vent.
