Agreed Jay. They should be reaching out to him to assist. I'm sure they have the authority to make something happen for him if the right persons phone rang

This thread started on Good Friday, which is a holiday for many people.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Clearly there are two compounding issues here:

1) RAM not being able to provide critical parts in a timely manner. It's one thing to run low on window regulators or trim pieces, here we're talking about a part that is crucial to the basic function of the vehicle. It's not a part for a 30 y/o engine either, it's used in current production.

2) The dealership coasting along on minimum effort. As has transpired from the discussion, parts are available, just not in the nearest parts distribution center.

Ram Cares has been in touch, let's see if they can make this move.
