Hello ladies and gents. My 16 just turned 100k and the thought of my fuel pump buying the farm on some empty highway at night Has been lingering over my head. I was looking at oem replacement but also performance options like the AEM 340 which I've used in other vehicles. My problem is I don't know what the fuel pump basket in our trucks looks like and if one of those will even fit. Has anybody used an aftermarket pump in their factory basket? If so what pump did you go with

Fuel pumps are pretty reliable. The most common failure is if you run them dry they might fail sometime afterwards, maybe years after. They rely on the fuel to cool them. So basically don't worry about it unless you run the tank completely empty a lot.
