I've got a 97 ram 2500 with the 8.0 v10. It starting really hard and when it does start it's idling at 1500 and sounds like a helicopter (did remove the muffler). It also is blowing a lot of white smoke. It also has almost 0 power when driving. Ik one of my injectors has been slowly dripping even after the engine it turned off so I'm assuming it's fully gone bad but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone have any idea as to what the exact issue is.

A compression test would be a good idea at this point .

White smoke is water or coolant , caused by possible bad head gasket.

Turns out my cylinders 2 was just misfiring, no damage except for the injectors which looks to have exploded
