I'm not NEUROTIC nor do I have O.C.D. Soooo I never check any of the temps, nor do I care...A transmission is going to take a **** whenever it decides it wants to. Your not going to prevent it with more Voo Doo B.S....IMO![]()
Yes, it's a mechanical device that works on friction and will eventually fail. However, the difference between operating at 170° and 200° could mean a huge difference in the miles/years of service.
