Power fold in mirrors

I went to swap Tow mirrors for sport mirrors that where folding.

What I noticed.

His 2013 Ram 1500 quad cab trucks master door switch was different than my 2017 Ram 1500 crew cab switch. The wiring harness/plug where completely different. So we couldn't swap the driver door switch.

Now.. the lights and all work on my sport mirrors, but the puddle lamps are dim. Not sure why.

Next we're going to try swapping door modules. Funny thing is, my tow mirrors work on his truck 100% Lights and puddle lamp.
I tried to order a switch and I hear it's the same from 2013 to 2018. But I am hesitant now cause I know that isn't true.

DIMMER SWITCH DOES EFFECT THE PUDDLE LAMPS! Turned it back up and they work! I am such a dork!

I just picked up some folding power mirrors I believe they were off for 2015 and I put them on my tradesman it already had the door modules with an empty slot so ( I don't think the tradesmen at that option ) I just plugged them in and took it to the dealer and everything is functioning I did have to buy the drivers side switch you just have to make sure if its two plug switch or a one plug switch mine was a one plug on the 2018 I couldn't be happier they're awesome

2017 & up definitely have a different switch for crew cabs. 2017 & up have a single plug. 2016 & down have 2 plugs.

I am speaking solely of crew cab models.

you can also check with infotainment.com... they have a package that includes all the hardware and the equipment to change the computer codes.

i have a 14 sport with power fold in true blue. would love to get my hands on power fold tow mirrors. im in Maine though

Just to be clear, when you are talking codes, is that computer, or will they fold automatically
My 14 sport has them, but I have to push the button to fold them in

I bought a set of sport mirrors and finally swapped them out.
I still have to buy the master switch and modules.

I have a 2019 Laramie with the Tow Mirror Package. These are the chrome heads, have puddle lights, turn indicators, heated and also have the blind spot indicator. I need to switch over to Power folding mirrors so I am assuming that I have to switch to the sport mirrors? If so, I would like to make a trade with anyone that needs the towing mirrors if it is that easy to switch over..

If you have any information I may have missed or can verify some of the Mopar Tow Mirror PNs & Reg cab switch/module info it would be great if you'd pay what you have over there...

I plan to be upgrading to tow mirrors soon. I have the sport mirrors. Black texture, power fold, puddle lights, turn signals, and heated. Mine is a 2018. I need/want all of those same features and functions on the tow mirrors too.
