I always thought the term "prerunner" meant lifted 2WD trucks.

Without the hell cat in it, what's the point?
Actually most prerunners or trophy trucks arent forced induction. They are high hp n/a sealed engines.

Kinda yes. What they are is a truck that thr driver and navigator use to test the course out with or "pre run" the track. They use those instead of their actual race trucks to mark where some big rocks, holes, whoops, etc are. Makes sense?

I love the style of those trucks! Im willing to admit that Shes a pavement princess for sure being there is no dunes to rip around in here in minnesota. It has the 3 inch fiberwerx fender buldges, fox 2.0s front and rear, zone UCAs, ADD front bumper with top hoop, and some method race wheels. fad94a4800e94a84d29abb7044a348d4.jpg5847acc4740f9791b34e5cebc0351c9d.jpg

My truck is 4x4 for now but it is so much easier to maintain and improve ride and amount of travel on a 2wd drive long travel front end.

Yeah. I take it the Baja race trucks are only 2wd based on how fast they go.

That and you can get more suspension travel without all of that fwd stuff up there and less weight too.

Right, the amount the body smashes down when they land from jumps is insane. I went to San Felipe one time for work and got to see some of the trails, pretty crazy. That's about halfway down the Baja 1000 "track" on the East side.

Cool truck. What's your plan for tires? How long have you had the Fox 2.0s and can you give some feedback on them please?

Ill get beefier tires ones these are through their life. I got them before i got all of the parts. I got into an accident so that justified me getting the bumper and and fenders. Ive had them on for about 4 months and so far and i think they are great! To me i think that they ride alot better than stock and i would definately buy them again for sure! And they are rebuildable as well

Dirt king kit is well worth it. Easy install and great company to work with.

Thanks for the info. I belong in the Eibach Pro truck/Bilstein 6112/Fox 2.0 class, for my budget & usage. That DK kit looks awesome, I hope you do get that someday and post lots of pics/videos please : )

One day i'll have a long travel setup. i'm staying mid travel for now with King 2.5 all around. Have nothing but great things to say about Kings, i've tried pretty much everything out there, SAW, Radflo, Icons and Kings, only thing i've never run is Fox 2.5, but have always stayed mid travel mostly because my build stops at rock crwaling or exploration/overlanding stuff. haven't decided the look for my truck in full but little by little i keep adding stuff for overlanding so i guess that will be the theme again :)
