Problem with Waze...

I can't get it to run... I have a 2019 2500 Bighorn, with the 8.4 non Nav unit. The phone is a Samsung 10+ running Android Auto. Google maps works great, and the phone uses Waze as a stand alone without problems. Run it through AA to the 8.4 and it looks like the bottom of the waze screen is cut off. No button to start the navigation process once the route is figured out. Anyone else see this problem?

This sounds like an Android Auto problem where it is not reading the size of the screen correctly. When using AA, the truck screen is literally treated as a second "dumb" screen. All of the processing happens on the phone and the screen is just used as a display and input device. Make sure you have the latest version of AA and Waze. These issues are tough to troubleshoot since you have three things made by different companies that need to work together. I got so frustrated with AA that I switched to iPhone and Carplay.

I understand your theory, but the only app it happens with is Waze. Everything else displays correctly. Google Maps navigates really well, I would just prefer to use Waze if I could....
