Purchasing a tuner

I'm new to the forum. I have a 2012 1500 crew cab w/5.7 Hemi.
I'm looking to purchase a tuner soon. Which is the best Bully dog or Diablosport trinity? What are the pro's and con's of each?

I bought a Diablo first and couldn't get it to download the tune to send it to Hemifever for a custom tune. I think Windows 8 was a big problem on my new computer. I was able to download the performance tune in my truck and wasn't really impressed at all. But it wouldn't let me do it a second time. Turns out I didn't have to put truck back to stock for him to tune it. I sent it back and bought a Bully Dog from Moe's Performance and it's a lot better. At least it is in MY truck. Noticeable difference between the two. If you want a custom tune, then Hemifever will sell u a DS with his tunes and they are supposed to be awesome. If all you want is canned tunes, then the Bully Dog is probably better for that. It's smaller than the DS, too. I personally like the BD features better and it's easier for ME to use. They sell a pillar gauge pod that works for either one. I have a Diablo mount for that gauge pod that is brand new I will GIVE to anyone who needs it if they will just pay to have it shipped to themselves. Just email me the shipping deal from FedEx or whoever and ill ship it.

Can the Bully Dog do everything that the Diablosport can? As in disable MDS and torque management. The Bully Dog website doesn't give a whole lot of info and I can't seem to find a manual anywhere for it to find out myself.

it does disable MDS, but im not sure about TM. I dont remember ever seeing that in the setup of the tuner. Probably not.

You can't manually adjust the torque management like you can with diablosport. I've had my bullydog for about a month now and love it. Definitely wakes the truck up.

I know my DS allows me to adjust the shift points and rev limiter but not sure about the bully dog

Never used a tuner, maybe a dumb ? , but do they void your warranty

Yes they do but, they can be removed as easily as they are installed if you need to bring in for warranty purposes.

Will the diablo trinity cause me not to get an state inspection sticker?

Easiest thing to do is just uninstall it before. I can't tell what year your truck is or where your from on my phone
