I didn't question your choice of a Pentastar until you defended that choice in this post. :D Since you ended up with a 4th gen you could have just bought a 4th gen with the Hemi and avoided etorque all together. No 4th gens came with etorque, including 2019 thru 2024 1500 Classics.

You may think me crazy, and many do, including my wife, but I wanted the Pentastar over the Hemi.

It took me two years to find this truck. It has pretty much everything I wanted in a truck, as I still have my '94 2500, and at the time, my '87 F150 Lariat 4x4 with a 4.9, I-6 and granny 4 speed trans.

My son has that now in case I start missing it.

No, I don’t think you’re crazy. :) You knew what you wanted and went with that. It’s not for me but plenty of people are happy with the Pentastar. It’s a good reliable engine from what I’ve read. I was just messing with you in my previous post (mostly). :Big Laugh:

Greetings all! I'm new to the group and looking to purchase a new-to-me Ram 1500 5th-Gen crew cab with the Hemi engine. I have narrowed it down to two likely candidates and would love some advice on which one might be the best choice. The two options are linked below:

Option 1 - 2020
Option 2 - 2022

Which one would you choose? What should I be looking for while checking these two over?
