I bought the Bushwacker fender flares (50924-02) and am not sure if they are the right ones. The indent that is on the fender flare does not seem to match up with the indent in the side of the truck. Also for those who installed them, I assume that you remove the front stock wheel flap as the fender flare will cover that spot. What do you do about the rear as it seems that the flap runs a little along the lower portion of the back end? Just want to make sure that I get it right before I put truck bed liner on them.

The only thing u would have to do is remove the stock mud guard/ flaps prep area and ur good to go. Flare should look like mine if it's tha same. No need to remove inner splash guard if that's what you mean needs to be removed. 9831cd1c90e088942b61e8bb6d018ef9.jpg

Looks like the OP has a 5th gen though, unless his 2019 is a classic?

No problem, although if you installed the same part # as he has, and he does in fact have a new style 2019, that would answer his question.

I do have a new generation, not the classic. I called Bushwacker and they confirmed that then model I ordered was for the new gen. Going to take a closer look at it in the morning.

I took off the stock mudflaps and lined everything and it would not fit right without a lot of sanding and grinding. Don't believe that you should have to do that when you spend $400 on something. Am going to send them back and I just ordered the flares that come on the Rebel model.

Sounds like you made the right call, wouldn't want to be doing something like that to any newer truck let alone brand new one. Thanks for updating us!
