Ive never heard of lifts not working with stock rims. You can have any lift you want with 22" tires if you want

I have leveled my truck with 35's and the stock 17's, and after driving about 12k miles even with 1/2" spacers the tires are beginning to Cup, i believe this is due to the fact that 35's are not a good fit with only 7" wide rims. here before to long i will be purchasing 17x9 -12 offset rims to hopefully fix the issue wive had

Guys,
I currently have the stock 20's on my 2015 1500. I want to get new 17's and go with a LT315/70R17/E 121 S.
1) What offset / backspace should I go with if I want just a little coming out of the wheel well?
2) I have the 2.1 in level lift. Will I rub going with these tires?

I want to put the BFG KO2's on.

Thanks
