question about plasti dip

how in the heck are yall getting a nice straight line??? also i think i was putting the coats on to thick today and not letting them dry long enogh but i had some bubbles and its didnt look all that great.... gonna pick up another can friday to redo it but i want some pointers lol... i just thought i had mastered plastidip but i guess my black truck was hiding the imperfections

peel tape when its wet or use a toothpick

^^^ found that out too, peeling the tape when the pd is dry rips it
