Ram 1500 2020 found adhesive pad on floor near brake pedal where does it go

Vehicle was in for service to ac.

The expansion valve was bad. Got back and the ac is colder. I feel like it should be colder but I guess that's the best they can do.

Anyway a couple days later I was sitting in vehicle and heard something drop to the floor under the instrument panel i looked and found this sticky pad on the floor by the brake pedal and wondered where is it from and is it needed.

Without any other details it looks like an NVH pad that is applied to the HVAC housing or the instrument panel. They are used to in many places on the instrument panel, the HVAC housing and with wiring to prevent two pieces from rubbing together or to prevent a wiring harness from rubbing against something. I wouldn't worry about it but if you are concerned I would ask the dealer if they left it in the vehicle by accident. It may be an extra as well.
