Now, a 392 Durango is something I could see driving. However, my 5.7L has been a great engine.

Jeez, that engine should be an option for the 1500. That's the one I would buy. Heck, I might even go for the supercharged version, if they'd put that in the 1500.... but either one would have to be without eTorque.

If RAM had offered a competitor to the Chevy 1500 ZR2 with the 6.4L that would have been a strong contender for me. I only went with the 3/4 ton because Power Wagon.

FYI, the Durango SRT with the 6.4 has been available since at least 2018. I test drove a few before buying my 1500. They are very nice, until you pull up the the pump (again). The engine may be new to the R/T, but it's not new to the platform.

Sorry for being that guy - but as I said, I've driven them.
