My Ram is a 2019 Classic body Ram 1500. I’ve been looking at different wheels and keep coming back to the Ram Rebel 17” wheels. I’m assuming the bolt pattern for these wheels will fit my truck, but will they stick out past the fender wells? I’m really not interested in putting flares on the truck or lifting it. I am having a 2” front leveling kit being installed on Wednesday. I have the 20” wheels on the truck that it came with currently. I personally like the look of the Rebel wheels and tires because I want more of an off-road look. Opinions? Thanks!

I believe your 2019 has six bolts, the wheel you are considering is five bolts. Won't work.

Rebel wheels from a Gen 4 should fit no problem. I'm unsure if their offset is different, but it shouldn't be much if any.

They should go right on with no problem and not stick out.
But be prepared for a handling loss on bends when going from 20's to 17's.

The rebel wheels will fit fine. My neighbor runs them on his 2016sxt and it looks pretty good.

Love those wheels on my Reb but if I ever had to "upgrade," these Mopar beadlocks are the way I plan to go...

I normally don't get too caught up in rims but I think those Rebel rims look great. Wouldn't mind having a set on my Tradesman at some point. Scared to price them.

Here's what I have on my leveled 2016 with Falken Wildbeast A/T3W 285x75-17 E tires.
2018 Rebel 17x8.0 Wheels
Offset +18.05 mm, Back Space 5.50”, 29 lbs

Not sure what Paco means when he says, "But be prepared for a handling loss on bends when going from 20's to 17's."
I have not experienced any handling loss in any situations. Would like to know more about any loss on "bends".

The Rebel wheels are 8" which helps and your tire choice helps.
I went from stock 7" wide 17's with 285/70/17 Michelin defender LTX M/S E-load to stock 9" wide 20's with 275/60/20 Generals.

With the Michelins, it was just unsafe feeling on hitting a bump while in a bend or hitting the brakes hard with the wheel turned (at higher speed). I think it was due to rim squirm as the 285/70/17's should really have been on a 8 or 9" wide wheel, and it felt like the rim was moving sideways in the tire.

I ran the Michelins from 45 psi to 70 psi and couldn't get it to where it didn't have the truck lurch sideways in those conditions.
285/75/17 might have worked better.

With the 20's it went from unsafe feeling to handling like it is on rails - not just a small change but a drastic change.

I really do like the Rebel wheels though and they often aren't that pricey on craigslist.

I've liked your truck before and still like it. :) Do you know what the offset is on the stock 17 x 7 rims for comparison?

Correction - I posted 285x75-17 E Falkens. They are 285x70-17 E.

Paco,
Thanks for the explanation, makes sense. And, my situation is even better with 285x70 rather than my post error of 285x75.

Truck-Fun,
I don't know the specs on the OEM 17x7 rims
