Would like to thank Smoothie, it never occurred to me to pull the batterie connection.
The new one is held on by some kind of super sticky tape that Nathon adds to the back side of his badges.

I got mine from Re-Badge, because, I done remember who it was brought it to my attention that a Billet badge to the forehead upon air bag deployment would have sucked.

Looks great, you try fishing line at all? I guess once you got down to the metal pieces wouldn't have helped much but might be easier to get there, kind of like debadging the outside.

I wouldn't say I love the replacement either but seriously dude, there is no need... The golden rule on this forum (and why it is so awesome) is that everyone is customizing their truck to their own taste.
