There's one of these for sale on my local Market Place not quite the same, but it's the FireHawk version.Worked at Trans-Am Specialties, (no relation to the one now in Florida). for a few years right after I got out of the service. What a time that was. The second pic is the car we had entered in the 24 hours of Daytona, it was originally red. Unfortunately, we cracked a cylinder head and DNF, finished 55th..,..but, on the Wikidpedia page, take note of who also DNF and finished one spot ahead of us at 54th, so we didn't feel too bad. They were in the garage stall right next to us. To say we were in awe was an understatement.

There's also a droptop Coach Works 81 Turbo T/A forsale that looks really good.
I bought a brand new turbo 301 T/A and a 125 shot woke it right up,until it blew up,lol.Love the Firehawk, the T/A does look good as well. I couldn't begin to count how many of those turbo 301's I yanked out and replaced with either a 400 or 455 in front of a Doug Nash 5 spd, with a smattering of SBC's thrown in the mix - LOL. The rest we left basically stock, but Chuck was adamant on installing NOS and water injection on them. It did wake them up a little. Sigh...to be young again!
