I always found the matchbook cover was too thick for my mopars. 0.019 initial for each side of this dual point that I had out today to replace the vacuum advance. Always eyeballed it if installing the points in the car. Then adjust with the meter.Set a lot of points in GM products using a matchbook cover bent over once, lol, did real good on my 67 L4 396. All I ever had in the car was pliers, Phillips and straight screwdrivers, hee hee.

31 on each side and 34 combined dwell. Should be closer to 36. Doesn't run as well if I widen each side out to 32, so this is how I've set it up for years...
