I have a noise that driving me crazy. I can't figure it out. When I'm going between 20 and about 30 I get a rattle that seems to be coming from the front driver side. It doesn't change when turning or braking. If I give it a little throttle it goes away. It not in the engine and this is how I know. In my quest to figure this out I found out If I shift from drive to. Neutral it will instantly stop. This is when I'm driving in a 30 mph zone. It's a 2014 ram 1500 with 170000 mile. Zero problem for the lif of the truck. Has anyone had anything like this?

I read something about the thin heat shield vibrating? Coming from same area. Not sure if it was here or the other forum.

I do have a manifold bolt on that side that is snapped that I need to fix. That could be it, the exhaust bolts hold that heat shield in place.
