Rear seat doesn’t lift 2011 1500

How do I get seat to lift? Saw some videos to make back drop but I can’t get bottom to lift. Any help please?

I'm going to follow along. I thought they all just lifted.
My daughter's 2015 just lifts, but perhaps some are different.
My gripe is that it is not 60/40 split. You can't lift the remainder if you have a kid's carseat installed.

Should just lift up when force is applied. No locking latches, other than thecweightbof whatever is on the seat.

Id check to make sure nothing is restricting the back vertical part of the seat is not restricted. If it is, that could be your issue.

When i had my 11 bighorn quad cab the rear seat simply lifted up. I kept some supplies in the under seat storage compartment

my old 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 had a 2 piece rear seat
under the cushion part of the seat, at the corners, there was 2 straps

look closely & you can see the strap






now that i look at it, the straps only hold the fold flat floor down
