rear seats

    Do they back section of the rear seats come forward at all? I want to mount have a decent hiding place in the truck

    Yes they do.

    You need to do a little mod on them though. Unbolt the rear seats so you can have full access and there is a plastic covered u shaped metal clip that hooks into the back wall.
    You need to trim that down and then you will be able to. There are some videos on you tube. I’ve done this on my truck. Tended to put long guns behind the seats. Nice spot

    Undo all the seat bolts, lift the bottom up until the back unhooks, cut just below the white guide on the 2 hooks then reverse assembly.
    To get the ladder in there, I removed the middle seatbelt assembly (dog chewed through the strap anyway)


    You can see at the bottom center the hook with the white anti-rattle guide that you cut off the bottom 3/4" (IRRC)
