A friend of mine has had two 6.4 2500 4x4 trucks left rear sway bar lower nuts become loose. One was a 2016 w/36K before it was totaled and the other is his current 2021 with 44K. He does do some off roading (hunting) and he has a small ranch. But these nuts (18MM) are compression fit and should not come loose. I replaced the 2021 link for him because the threads had become galled. Oreilleys had a little trouble locating the part. It's Precision K750711 and came with a zerk. Just too coincidental to happen to both trucks on the same part. The part fits many years and may be the same for the diesel 4x4's so would be a good idea to check these when doing service. And maybe update this post if you too, find the same issue. I recently replaced my front sway bar links on my 2004.5 diesel that were worn out. Same companies links and look like good quality.

Red Loctite on the threads or double nut it,both should work to keep them from loosening off
