My Buddy has a gorgeous Chally Hellcat 6-spd and wants 1000HP & 1000TQ.
He lives on Manitoulin Island.

He knows this is bucks to do it right (driveshaft, diff, clutch, engine & supercharger work, tuning, etc.).

He would like a high level and super credible one-stop-shop place where he could purchase all the materials and do the mechanical work himself, and then trailer it to the same supplier and have it tuned.

He has reached out to OST Dyno via email and phone a few times and never gets a response or phone picked up.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Tell him to get on the Hi-po Hemi and Hellcat pages on FB. He's probably looking at well above 75G Canuck to build a reliable 1,000ft-lb 6 speed Challenger,as he'll also want to do pistons and rods ,and have the blower bearings replaced and the blower ported etc. The stock pistons and rods are good to about 900 horse crank, before they start to become a weak link, and to get to a 1,000lb-ft he's gonna need probably 1100+ horsepower.
BTW tell him not to use "Chally" on the facebook pages,as not only will he get made fun of,alot of the guys who do have answers for him, will ignore him if he uses that name,as that name seems to p i s s off alot of people ,he's better off spelling the whole name if he wants help:Big Laugh:

Tell him to start buying up all the Hellcat and Demon diffs he can find,as he'll need a few of them on hand if he's gonna actually put the power to the ground ,and he'll also want to do the 15" brake conversion so he has a better selection of slicks/drag radials to pick from. He'll need all the tire sidewall he can get under the car to offset the manual transmission,an automatic car can get away with a little bit less sidewall, but a stick car needs all the sidewall he can put under the car. He'll also want a high dollar clutch, and get good at changing it ,lol

Or he dumps the stick car and buys himself a Super Stock or a Demon, and builds one of them instead, lol. Personally i think he's a bit nuts to build a stick car,as it's harder then hell on parts, and takes a pile of skill to actually launch. The SRT guys never put a manual transmission behind the high horse cars, that should give him a clue they might have known something, lol.
