Trup, excellent! Need pictures. What's the goal for the new red truck?

I got one pic up Greg on a thread, but I'll have to wait till next week to get more up. It's dark, and Im going TDY for a week starting tomorrow morning 0600.

Vararam, headers, Magnaflow, then drop. Pretty much same as before... except this thing already has 390HP and 407 Lb's of Torque STOCK! Those mods should put me near 450HP! That was just under my goals for the other one supercharged!

Found the picture. Very nice and the color is fast. I think there is a bolt on bag drop for the 4g. I'm envious....

Greg I'm so stoked man! I start shaking just thinking about it! Intake/tuner/headers/exhaust/drop/supercharger. There's the plans! Some JJ headlights and fogs and some minor mods in between. But there's the plan!

The ******* suspension is a 4 link! It's awesome! 4x4 with coils everywhere! Easy spindle and coil drop an I'm golden! Already had sway bars/track bars and everything.

I had a chance to get under a 4g last year and was amazed at the suspension. You might remember me talking about grafting the rear of a 4g onto a 3g. Would diffidently still consider doing it given the right opportunity. There is a helper bag that can be placed inside the spring, But I think you can replace the entire rear spring with a bag which would be super cool. Yes, you are going to have a good time.

Edit: The red paint is awesome and you won't believe how it'll look with some work. Debadge it and paint the mirrors and handles. Do a 2000 grit sanding and shoot another coat or two of clear coat and folks will think it is the Viper wet red. I guarantee it'll look pure custom.

Thanks guys! Sounds good to me Greg! Tax return is coming, and reenlistment allotment in October! Gonna be a great modding season!

Alright red buddies! First mods for "RED ROCKET" Intake or tuner? You guys pic! Vararam is what I wanna go with... Prolly sand the orange off and paint it the same color as the truck, or diablo tuner? let a red brosif know!

there is no 2011 support yet... and i read that when u tune on the 4th gens it resets the engine hour time so it will automatically void your warranty...

Anyway, they can't just void my warranty, there's more into it than that.

well if u go for warranty work and they see the hours dont match up for the miles then yea they can

Dont they have to prove the tune cause the problem? If it was that way, noone could change anything on a vehicle. And r u sure it automatically clears the engine hours?

from what i read on another site everytime u load a tune on it it will reset the hours...

I call BS on that......unless the hours they are talking about is different than what I see in my engine timer - nobody replied (that I recall) when I brought that up over there. I have tuned my truck countless times (I beta'd the 2010 support), and I don't believe it for a sec.

Top that.....the truck has been in for warranty work, no issues.
