I see why you got it from a painter now. I just did a Google search for "automotive butter wax" and it comes in large quantities. Seems like it's a professional product and not so much an over the counter item. You can find some online at www.chemicalguys.com

When you get there, look at the left margin for a link in the "Exterior" section that reads "car wax abs sealants". There you will find it. Look for Vintage Series Butter Wet Wax. They have it in a 16oz and even by the gallon.

I love this thread, mirror polishing has become a recent obsession. Here is where I am at currently.

Walk Away from AutoZone... Great first step.:whip:

There is nothing wrong with AutoZone products, especially for the average Joe. I use Meguiars waxes and polishes and get great results. I use the Mothers clay bar kit and clay about once a month. I use Turtle wax paste and Meguiars wax (the expensive stuff, its like 25 bucks lol) and wax about once a month. I wash my truck every two days using Meguiars soap and water followed by Meguiars spray wax and detail. Just make sure you always wash your microfiber towels in between washes!

Top photo was taken early summer 2013, bottom picture was taken about 2 days ago in the exact same parking space and location. She sure has come a long way. Glad to see the hours of hard work are paying off!
