Remounting my sideways 7 way plug.

I hate the sideways 7 way receiver plug and want to remount it inline like almost all other vehicles. Has anyone done this? Tips on doing this?

This must be on your 2nd gen truck. I had the same thoughts when I had my 95, but just learned to live it.
