I'm trying to replace my fuel filters on my 2014 ram 3500. Places i have looked carry 1 filter but, either don't carry or can't even order the second one. Anybody else have this issue or know where I can find the 2nd filter. Dealer only? If so why do parts stores show it on their website?

I know one of them you can get from cummins or some other parts stores, but the other one is only available through Ram dealers unless that's changed since a couple months ago when my friend had to do his '13 cummins' filters. According to the parts guy at cummins though they were working on making both filters available through them.

Why not get them from the dealer? You get a cheap aftermarket filter with a higher micron count and you are going to have a bad time.

Most likely he's looking for a better deal on the oem one. The one filter that you can get from cummins is a fair bit cheaper and the exact same filter as a dealer will sell you. Most times you can find the exact same part at other parts stores for cheaper than at the dealer.

Just paid $230 to have both changed by the dealer.
I believe 1 filter was $85 and the 2nd was $105. ridiculous.

When I had my 04 Cummins I bought a fuel filter from the dealer for $50. A few months later I bought one at the Cummins dealer for $15. Same exact filter, different box.
