I'm looking to get a pickup, for hauling plywood. I looked at an F150, and I hated the engine bay - it was too crowded. My brother has RAM 1500, and let me see how much space it has - I loved that.

Out of interest, I wanted to find a picture on google of a ~2003 RAM 1500's engine bay, but after 20 minutes of searching, I gave up. I found very few, and the ones I did were horrible quality or aspect. I kept getting pictures of Dakotas, etc.

It's an odd first-post request, but does anyone have a picture to share / or know where one's at, on the web?

Thanks!

He is probably referring to the 2003 with the hemi in which case his engine bay looks different than that

The engine bay would look similar to mine. Except without the giant CAI lol

My brother said that he doesn't have the hemi, maybe his vehicle is older.

Thanks for adding the picture!
And if someone has a picture with a sharper angle (pointed downward more), that would be nice. :)

Take out the Rad and you can stand on the cross frame and do any job you want in regards to Camming and valve train upgrades and you can also do headers without removing the inner fenders as you get better!

Under hood space? There's plenty to do all the various maintenance needed. Plus it isn't a good place for carrying wood. I'd advise hauling that stuff in the bed. :)

Put it this way...there's room for a Viper V10 under the hood of a 3rd gen Ram.
